Major responsibilities for the Assistant Project Manager will include:

Position Overview
As the Project Controls Cost Specialist, you will be responsible for managing project budgets, provide monthly financial reporting, and support Project Management during development and construction phases for our onshore renewable or transmission projects. The Senior Analyst role will be heavily focused on collaborating with key stakeholders to maintain an accurate project cost forecast, facilitate procurement processes, and produce budgetary status reports.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to provide the project’s latest Estimate at Completion cost forecast, reconcile project expenditures, and lead monthly budget management reviews.
- Perform monthly project cost related reporting to the team and management’s review to ensure that expenditures are kept within the project budget.
- Monitor and proactively identify financial risks, opportunities, and mitigation strategies to ensure the project is executed within budget.
- Perform and manage project financial activity of purchasing processes including setting up new suppliers, creating purchase requisitions, managing purchase orders, invoicing, and ensure timely payment distributions in Oracle Fusion.
- Responsible to control and monitor project total expenditure including verifying and checking of invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports, as directed by management

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, construction, or a related field
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in Project Controls, Project Management, or Finance/Accounting
- Experience with project coordination and management of projects with multiple levels of interface between vendors, internal staff, and other stakeholders
- Able to travel up to 10% of the time

Distribution Project Manager to support a program consisting of a combination of small to moderate size distribution substation, and communication projects in the distribution space (2.4kV to 34.5kV).
The Project Manager will manage, direct and coordinate all aspects of the work related to the engineering, permitting, construction, and capitalization of multiple concurrent low voltage overhead transmission line, substation, and communication equipment improvement projects.
The Distribution Project Manager will report directly to the Lead Project Manager and is responsible for cost management of the individual projects, the successful completion of the projects within the specified dates and establishing and maintaining a professional and satisfactory relationship with the Owner, subcontractors, regulatory agencies and any other project stakeholders.
Major responsibilities for the Project Manager will include:
· Provide overall management of projects from development, construction and closeout including siting, environmental, permitting, planning, estimating, engineering, right-of-way acquisition, project controls, bid phase services, procurement, constructability reviews, material management, construction management, and closeout.

Minimum of two (2) years of electrical utility Tx or Dx line or substation project experience with at least five (5) years of project management experience (PM or assistant PM)
Project management experience must include construction phase of project execution. Must have detailed knowledge in substations, networks/telecommunications, or transmission lines. Must have ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of industry, government and public contacts on project-related matters.
Excellent written & verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus but not mandatory. Ability to travel. Roles and Responsibilities:
• Provide project controls cost engineering support to Directors, Manager of Projects, Project Managers, Sr. Project Cost Analysts, contractors and other key team members
• Assist in the development and monitoring of annual budgets, actual and forecasted costs for transmission, substation, distribution, and gas projects and programs
• Utilize Asset Suite 8 (AS8) to support current and future work with respect to budgeting, financial forecasting, actual cost tracking, project authorization, work management, contracts, and material tracking
• Attend required meetings and reach out to project stakeholders for detailed project information
• Identify project/program budget, forecast, and authorization issues early and assist in developing resolutions to meet project metrics
• Assist in the development and continued monitoring of the budgets for transmission, sub-station, distribution projects and programs

· Reconductor several existing double-circuit 230kV lines (12 miles)
Qualifications:
· Candidates for this position must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or related field from an accredited curriculum.
