Project Management:

  • Manage ongoing projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Develop baseline schedules and ensure their alignment with project objectives.
  • Conduct regular status updates and progress tracking to identify deviations and implement corrective actions.

Scheduling Expertise:

  • Review contractor schedules to ensure compliance with project requirements and contractual agreements.
  • Present schedule information to stakeholders and provide insights into project progress and potential risks.
  • Lead scheduling update meetings, facilitating discussions and driving decisions to maintain project momentum.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Demonstrate proficiency in software tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Prepare lookahead schedules, critical path reports, and highlight key activities to support decision-making and communication.

Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving:

  • Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze project schedules, identify critical paths, and mitigate schedule risks.
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities and requirements, effectively managing dynamic project environments.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and address concerns, ensuring satisfaction and project success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Scheduler, preferably in utility transmission projects.
  • Strong knowledge and proficiency in Primavera P6 scheduling software.
  • Experience in transmission line construction projects is highly preferred.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is advantageous but not required.
  • Knowledge of cost control is preferred but not necessary.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines consistently.
