As an owner and operator of transmission lines, BGE also repairs or replaces the worn-out infrastructure. One BGE transmission segment was near the end of its life, and it required replacement. It had two high voltage circuits that extended underneath the Patapsco River’s Harborside from Hawkins point in Baltimore to Sollers Point in Baltimore County.
