ComEd recently implemented the NERC (North American Electric Reliability Corporation) program compliance efforts to provide reliable electric service and to meet clearance regulations to the overhead transmission lines to maintain reliability. KGDR Consultants Inc. assisted Burns & McDonnell as sub-consultants with program management on the NERC program on more than 54 projects. We supported project management activities, progress reporting, scope management, and planning of long-term budget.
KGDR also assisted in managing their schedule and cost to ensure timely completion within budget. Our professional support in the construction field, permit and material coordination, real estate rights/coordination, scope changes, and contractor management assisted the company to achieve its goal swiftly and efficiently. This program was completed in January 2021.
